Jeremy Wright has been turning concepts into reality for 34 years. Windows, Doors, Staircases, Kitchens, Bathrooms, Furniture and Flooring in South Devon.
Turning Concepts into Reality
Over the years Jeremy Wright has designed and manufactured some fantastic things. Some are purely examples of construction and joinery at its most ingenious and fun from concrete staircases to unusual furniture; others are more quirky finishing touches like a simple but unique bottle rack or an acrylic shower screen.
Over the last 30 years Jeremy has developed an understanding of materials that allows him to make best of them. Here are just a few examples of what he has come up with over the years in response to his clients needs. The opportunity to innovate is his passion so if you have an idea; or would like him to provide one then please contact us. Our main website demonstrates some of our projects.
We produce dozens of staircases a year covering all budgets and styles. We can manufacture flights; in softwood, MDF and ply, simple and competitively priced; Oak, with elaborate traditional balustrading and sweeping hand rails or super modern feats of engineering using materials like stainless steel and glass. If you like what you see, whether you just need to get from ground to first floor or are looking for something really special, please contact us.
Windows & Doors
Much of our work is in the replication of existing styles of joinery in listed or simply traditional buildings but the great thing about manufacturing with timber is its versatility. With regard to windows and doors this means that as long as it functions you can select any look you want at the size you need it; from traditional box frames with sliding sashes, astragal glazing bars or Gothic arches to contemporary units, with clean lines and stainless steel ironmongery, the options are endless.
As a Joinery in our own right we are pretty fussy when it comes to assessing the merits of another company's timber products. That is why we became a distributor for Rationel Windows and Doors in early 2012. We first encountered them as a consumer and were impressed with the company and their product. Rationel offer softwood timber only and aluminium clad softwood timber units in traditional and contemporary styles. They continue to innovate and update their range and with their AURA and AURAPLUS profiles and they are market leaders not only in sustainability but in energy efficiency.
Jeremy Wright has been designing and installing kitchens for happy customers since 1987. In May 2012 the company opened its first showroom, Studio Four, from which we display Italian designed and manufactured Scavolini Kitchens. Scavolini are the best selling kitchen brand in Italy offering amazing quality contemporary and traditional styles; they cover a huge breadth of the market from ranges created by designers Diesel and Giugiaro, the genius behind the Ferrari 250 and other automotive masterpieces, to contract ranges aimed at large scale projects, buy to lets and consumers with a modest budget who still want something special. Also on display are an array of appliances from manufacturers Quooker, Neff, Barazza, Falmec and Franke and we can also offer competitive prices on a large range of other brands.
In our time dealing with Scavolini we have found there is very little they cannot do! But if you cannot find the look you want or the price you need whether you are a contractor or a retail consumer we have the resources to cater for you needs from within the UK. Tell us what you want and we will see what we can do.

Jeremy Wright has been working as a joiner for 34 years and established Wright Joinery in the South Hams in 1987. Since then the company has made a steady transition from a sole trader working in a back garden outhouse to an experienced and fully equipped team operating from our current premises at South Hams Business Park.
Our main bodies of work fall into two categories; crafting replica replacement units, for example in listed buildings where styles and moulds must match an existing aesthetic, and large scale manufacture, for developments needing to achieve a look that only joinery can provide. We continue to invest in staff and technology and our joinery is a place where computer aided design and chisel can co-exist; where craftsmen use 21st perks to make bespoke joinery more accessible and affordable.
