Equine Services
The death of a horse or pony is an upsetting and traumatic experience for everyone involved. Cremtor understand this, and aims to help you deal with practical problems at an emotional time.
At Cremtor we offer communal cremation or individual cremation, all through one caring and professional point of call.
In our specially adapted vehicle, we will collect your horse or pony from either your stables or Veterinary Surgery.
Our vast experience in the equine field allows us to provide a professional, caring and quality service. Making it as easy as possible for you in a difficult time.
“This is a very difficult time for the horse owners and I like to offer a personal service to them. The Horse is transported and taken to Cremtor. Not all owners want the ashes returned, but it is a service we offer. This can help with the grieving process, and the owner can then bury the ashes in their horse’s favourite paddock corner. With owners of older horses, I recommend that they plan ahead, so that when the day comes we can make everything as easy as possible for them, given the circumstances. I am always happy to talk to horse owners and try and make this very difficult subject as stress free as possible.”
Domestic Pet Services
When you lose a pet, the sense of loss can seem overwhelming. As pet owners ourselves we have suffered the pain which the loss of a loved companion brings. That's why we understand that pets are a much loved member of the family and why we believe that their loss should be treated with care, respect and attention to detail that they deserve.
At Cremtor we understand how you are feeling and we can offer experience and support for you at this sensitive time. As we are a small, independent, family run business, you can be assured of a personal approach at all times.
Please feel free to contact Sally for a sympathetic collection and guidance service to help you cope with the loss of your pet.
Farm Stock
Fallen stock can no longer be buried or burnt in the open because of the risk of disease spread through groundwater or air pollution. Instead, animals must be taken to or collected by an approved business, with a license for humane destruction. Cremtor can deal with all cases of fallen farm stock, whether the animals are dying, injured or passed.
The livestock section covers:
- Cattle and dairy
- Sheep and goats
- Poultry
- Pigs
