I went in looking for reasonable priced fish for a dinner party,Emma couldn't of helped enough,came away with local day boat hake,it was beautiful and I was surprised by the price so thank you
We are lucky to have a Fishmonger of this quality in the town. My turn to cook so it was raw king prawns and scallops pan fried in butter with green beans and new potatoes. Some marinated anchovies and olives on sticks to munch on whilst cooking....oh..and washed down with a white Riocha. Lovely choice of fish on display and amazing people to serve you.
Tragically there are not enough stars, we rate it 7 out of 5 and would rate it 10 out of 5 if that was possible. The John Dory, Tuna, fish-pie mix, giant home made fishfingers, smokies, crab and salmon are to live for! That is to mention but a few of the offerings. Please try to avoid Thursday mornings as we like to spend some time here.
Having had these wonderful fish for quite a few years now, sent by post at various times, I can safely say they are unbeatable.
Good quality, reasonable price, great delivery service all provided by great staff.
