East Egg Hunts in the South Hams

There are a great selection of things to in the South Hams over the Easter break. 

In Loddiswell, Heron Valley are holding an Easter Egg Hunt at the orchard, book online - £6 per child.

Aune Valley and Valley View Cafe Easter Egg Hunt will also be taking place just outside Loddiswell, with clues to crack and prizes to win - £2.50 per child. 

East Soar Farm is also holding an Easter Egg Trail near Bolberry, daily until Saturday, 8 April, from 11am - £4 per child.

In East Prawle, The Pigs Nose Inn is holding an Easter Extravaganza on Sunday, 9 April, with Lez the Fez a magician, an Easter lunch, design an Easter Bonnet and paint some boiled eggs ready for the unique egg rolling race - starting at 12noon. 

In South Pool, the Easter Saturday Duck Race is back. Held at the Millbrook Inn, on 8 April, starting at 12noon. 

In South Brent, Brent Island Trust is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt Trail on the Island. Follow the clues around The Meadow, leading to the reward of a chocolate egg or fruit, while getting closer to nature and exploring The Island - £2 per child. 

In Kingswear, Coleton Fishacre's Easter trail runs daily until Sunday, 30 April, between 10.30am and 4.30pm, with last entry at 3.30pm - £3 per child. 

Whether you celebrate Easter as the secular time of new beginnings, the ancient pagan celebration of the spring equinox or the Christian resurrection of Jesus or Jewish passover, we hope you have a safe and chocolate-filled time.
