South Devon Maize Maze will not be back in the foreseeable future

The South Devon Maize Maze has announced that they won't be back for the 2026 season. 

The South Devon Maize Maze team have announced that they are not bringing the popular event back for the 2026 summer season, due to issues including a "horrendously wet winter". 

The team also said that costs has "increased massively" since the last maize maze and changes in their own family have made the decision for them.

A spokesperson said: "We hope to bring the maize maze back again one day but to be honest we are unsure what the future holds and at this point if we will be able to. We only have 4 more years of our tenancy left and intend to make the most our final years here with our children.

"So if anyone knows of any opportunities or farms coming up for rent let us know.

"Finally, thank you. Thank you to each and every one of you that has supported this venture of ours. Whether you visited, talked to someone about us, provided catering, performed at one of our events or shared our posts, thank you. It really has made all the difference to us.

"We will always be proud of what we achieved of bringing the maize maze to Churchstow."
