A cat has been shot by a suspected air rifle and died in the Maddock Drive area of Plympton. 

Plympton Police posted on social media about Loki, a cat who was hit by a suspected air rifle pellet around 10.30-11.30am on Sunday, 20 November, and died yesterday afternoon. 

The post explained: "We have been in and around Maddock Drive today conducting house to house enquiries in an attempt to find out more details as to what happened. If you were not in, we have popped a letter through your door.
