A crash has occured on the A379 at Harraton Cross. 

UPDATE: Police appeal for information after fatal crash at Harraton Cross

A crash has occured on the A379 at Harraton Cross, the crossroads at the top of the hill between Modbury and Aveton Gifford. 

Ivybridge Police posted on social media, saying: "We are currently dealing with a serious RTC on the A379 - Harraton Cross. Ambulance, Police and Air Ambulance in attendance. Please avoid the area - the road is likely to be closed for some time."

Avoid the area if possible. 

We will update this as we hear more.
