The Tradesman's Arms team has given their customers an update on their current situation.

Pete, Liza, Cathie and the team, posted on social media saying they are making "great progress both inside and outside".

They said: "We understand that there have been a number of rumours as to our opening date, the most recent of which is that the opening date is the 1 December. Unfortunately we will NOT be ready to open by the 1 December.

"You will have seen that the scaffolding is down on the outside and the new lettering and lighting are in place. However, we still have a way to go on the inside, painting, hanging doors, the electrics, etc, not to mention fitting the kitchen and furnishing the rooms.

"So we will keep you informed of progress over the next few months and thank you for your continued support."

More than £11,000 was raised for all of those who lost their homes in the fire by local people on GoFundMe at the time - read more

We can't wait to see The Tradesman's Arms back open again!
