Local lady and Usborne seller, Charlotte Titterton, is on a mission to fill school, pre-school and nursery libraries with new books!

Having joined as an Usborne seller only in January 2022, Charlotte has already run 2 successful book events, providing £1,251.20 of books to two lucky local schools without the schools paying a penny. Both Loddiswell Primary School and Kingsbridge Community College have run sponsored reading challenges, where the students have raised sponsorship for reading, whether this be per minute, per book or for some fun challenges like reading to your pet! All funds raised were topped up by 60% from Charlotte as an Usborne partner, and last week, the schools received bundles of both fiction and non-fiction for their school libraries.

Charlotte has a few more schools and pre-schools lined up for reading challenges and book fairs, but has a real passion for reading, and encouraging children to read is high on her agenda. If you know a school that might be interested in benefiting from one of her events and the free book topups she can provide, reach out to her at This email address is being protected from spambots. This is Jake from Class 2, and Luna from Class 1, helping with the book delivery at Loddiswell Primary School. The teachers were over the moon with their new selection, each class from 1-4 got to choose a whole range of fiction and non fiction to enjoy.
