Kingsbridge Town Council has a vacancy - could you represent your town?
There is a vacancy for the office of town councillor for the North ward in Kingsbridge.
The vacancy was announced by the town council today, with Town Clerk Martin Johnson saying: "Unless ten or more electors of the Kingsbridge North Ward, on or before the 11th August 2021, submit a request in writing for an election to be held, the Town Council will take steps to fill the vacancy by co-option."

No formal qualifications are required and the town council is made up of people from all walks of life with various personal and professional backgrounds. Previously, the town clerk has said: "What you do need however, is a passion for Kingsbridge and a commitment to attend various meetings to make your voice heard. Being a town councillor is a big responsibility but incredibly rewarding."
