Woman plans sponsored walk, while dressed as a hedgehog, to celebrate 40th birthday

A woman is using her birthday to raise money for hedgehog charity Prickles in a Pickle with a sponsored walk.

Jessie Watson, Chillington, is going to be dressing up as a hedgehog and walking, with very little visibility, and walking from Torcross to Slapton on her 40th birthday.

Jessie explained: "I have decided to do this as we have a huge decline in our native hedgehogs, they have been a favourite creature of mine.

"Judy and Alan who run Prickles in a pickle are a small local charity in Stoke Fleming, they take in injured and sick hedgehogs and release when they're well enough.

"They have an amazing team of volunteers, but always need assistance to help at events, extra volunteers and funding to keep this amazing charity going.

"Thank you to those who have donated so far for my walk and the donation promises from local businesses:

If you would like to donate to Jessie's walk, donate directly to Prickles in a Pickle HERE

Good luck Jessie!
