Coast and Country Cottages is hosting Holiday Letting Secrets event

Coast and Country Cottages, the popular holiday lettings agency that runs more than 500 holiday homes in the South Hams, is bringing back their popular event Holiday Letting Secrets

Coast and Country Cottages are hosting an informative evening to discuss the holiday letting industry in South Devon at the beginning of February.

Taking place at Dartmouth Hotel Golf and Spa, the event will cover topics including the health of the staycation market and key marketing strategies for 2024, tips to optimise your property's booking and revenue potential and starting your holiday letting journey; step-by-step guidance for first time holiday home owners.

The event is free to attend but booking is essential.

Emily Mercer, Marketing Manager for Coast and Country Cottages, said: "We are delighted to announce the return of our Holiday Letting Secrets event for the third consecutive year. Sharing our extensive holiday letting expertise, acquired over 25 years, is a true passion for us.

We're delighted to support second homeowners with one or multiple properties in the local area, as well as those that are thinking of starting their holiday letting journey.

“This event serves as a platform to reflect on the 2023 season, provide the latest insights, and delve into the anticipated market trends in 2024. The pleasure of doing so in the company of fantastic businesses, including Zeal Chartered Tax Advisors, Phillip Meek mortgages and others, is a joy."

The event will begin with a one-hour-presentation starting at 6.30pm,  from Coast and Country Cottages and guest speakers. There will also be an additional opportunity afterwards to network with other current and prospective holiday let owners, the local Coast & Country Cottages team and event exhibitors.

The Holiday Letting Secrets event is for anyone thinking of buying a holiday home, or existing holiday home-owners that would like to find a suitable holiday letting agency, as well as those that already let their property with Coast and Country Cottages.

The full list of topics to be discussed is:

  • A review of the 2023 booking season and Coast & Country Cottages’ predictions on key booking trends in 2024
  • The health of the staycation market and key marketing strategies for 2024
  • Tips to optimise your property's booking and revenue potential
  • Starting your holiday letting journey; step-by-step guidance for first time holiday home owners

There will be the opportunity to meet the Coast and Country Cottages team from Salcombe and Dartmouth, who can answer any questions around holiday letting.

The event will take place on Thursday, 1 February 2024, 6pm - 9pm, at Dartmouth Hotel Golf and Spa, Blackawton, Dartmouth, TQ9 7DE and is free to attend.
