A photographer with nearly four decades of experience is ready to share his wealth of knowledge with his clients.
Matt Bright of Matt Bright Photographer has been in the industry for more than 35 years, starting as a dark room technician for the Independent newspaper and going on to build a wide range of clients from sports teams, festivals and small businesses.
The breadth of experience that Matt has, and in so many different styles, means that his baseline for technical knowledge is exceptional.

His fundamental knowledge of lighting a subject, whether it be for portraiture, products, food or drink, means that he can always get the perfect shot, whatever it is that he’s pointing his lens at.
“My previous employment has means that I have become a self-reliant problem solver when it comes to photography”, Matt explains, “I have always had clients come to me and say, ‘I have an idea but I’m not sure how to showcase it’ or ‘how are we going to be able to create this image’ and I’ve been able to think outside the box and lend my experience to helping them achieve what they’re looking for."

Matt also offers small scale video production, including video editing. He said: “Moving image is something I have always loved, and was included as part of my college course, but in the days when everything was shot on film it was a difficult service to offer post-graduation.
“Since the digital revolution I have been able to hone my skills and feel confident in offering this service to clients.”

Claire Skinner said: “I commissioned Matt to undertake photography for Marylebone Cricket Club for more than 15 years. In this time he captured many historic events at Lord's, from major matches including Cricket World Cups, Royal visits, dinners, community activity, sponsor events, children, portraits, and objects.
His images were of the highest quality, always delivering everything on the brief but often with much more. He used his creative eye and technical skills to convey the message the club wished to put across.
He was always professional, punctual and polite to staff, visitors and clients. I would highly recommend him.”
