Specialising in dangerous callouts and hedge reductions, a family run business is going from strength to strength.

Bark and Branch, run by tree surgeon Toby Yeoman, is a family-run business that is quickly making a name for itself for tackling the trickiest tree works jobs.

Toby Yeoman says Bark and Branch is his dream come true

Toby, who has loved climbing trees since he childhood and calls tree surgery his “dream job”, has a decade of experience and specialises in particularly dangerous or difficult projects, whether that is due to height, access, overhangs or the need for rigging, lowering and winching near to or around buildings and houses.

“I love my job”, Toby explained, “I love working outdoors and I get paid to climb trees, it's the best job in the world. I’ve always loved trees, their biology and how they work, they’re fascinating.”

Bark and Branch will take on jobs of all sizes, and can provide all aspects of tree surgery, tree work, climbing, dismantling and stump grinding, woodland management plans including thinning and planting, but in particular is excellent at hedge reduction in all its forms.

"We carried out a reduction on a large chestnut tree today, we removed some weight on a large lateral limb, in order to lower the risk of failure onto this 1800’s wall"

Born and raised in the South Hams and now based in Kingsbridge, Toby can cover the whole of the South Hams and is often called to areas around Exeter and even into Cornwall for his skills.

With their friendly, reliable, fully-insured service, Bark and Branch can take on any job you have, large or small, and will make sure you and your trees are in the best possible hands.

"Working over the road in the Mounts, removing some large beech trees that were in danger of falling into the road, all rigged down and made safe and no traffic interruptions all in all a successful week and a very happy client"

Toby posted many of his before and after photos on his Bark and Branch Facebook page, which you can find here
