Review Detail

This is a lovely little place with beautiful views and decor and a nice atmosphere so I thought I had stumbled across a hidden gem. However, I ordered some cheesy potatoes with a dip for £6.50 and was presented with a quite a small bowl for the price. On my second bite I noticed that the potatoes were frozen in the middle so I returned the meal. The friendly woman said she would sort it out but it was returned to me by another worker and it was the same dish which had been heated again in the oven. I was disappointed because, considering the price of the dish, I firstly expected a freshly made meal which had not come out of the freezer, and also I expected a fresh batch to be made when I returned the frozen meal, rather than just to be heated through again. It made me feel that I was being a nuisance to them rather than feeling valued as a customer. I ate the dish and swiftly left. I am not a picky person but I honestly expected more of an apology and maybe even a part refund for my inconvenience, and at least a fresh dish cooked properly.
