Dartmouth Police say they are increasing police presence following "incident"

Dartmouth Police say they are aware of an "incident" that occurred on Higher Street on Saturday and are increasing their presence in the town. 

Police have posted to social media to say that an incident, which has been posted to local groups, is being investigated and a press release is coming soon. 

In the meantime, they say that "the victim has been offered support by us, which will continue as the matter progresses" and "Neighbourhood Officers will be out and about on foot in the Town Centre over the next few days offering reassurance and attending the Christmas Markets and late night shopping".
