Hundreds of people turned out to welcome the new lifeboat to Dartmouth.

Dart RNLI welcomed their new B Class Lifeboat to the town on Saturday, 9 July, after it was transported from Poole.

Previous Dartmouth lifeboats, alongside Salcombe RNLI and the Dartmouth Fire Station crew, welcomed the new lifeboat and their RNLI crew.

A spokesperson for Dart RNLI said: "Thanks to all who took part. Sorry to those who got wet from the fire brigade. Well done to the volunteer crew who drove it round from Poole to Dartmouth and also to Salcombe RNLI who came to support. Perfect weather and a perfect day."

The naming ceremony will follow.
