The evenings may be getting longer but there are never enough hours in the day, are there? So, when it comes to prepping your garden for the spring, you could save a lot of effort by dropping in to Gardentime near Dartmouth.

Not only will you find a wide variety of colourful top quality plants, pots and planters, there is also a farm shop, butchers and the atmospheric Glasshouse café, all in one convenient location.

Choose your plants with the expert help of Gardentime’s staff, then select your compost and gardening sundries. If it’s all too much to fit in the car, Gardentime delivers across the South Hams seven days per week ...

By now you should be ready for a spot of lunch, so head over to the café to choose a home-cooked special of the day; you can even take a seat overlooking the kitchen garden which supplies the café with fresh veg and salad.

Alternatively, if you’re an early bird, the café is open for breakfast, too. Visiting in between meals? Enjoy morning coffee or afternoon tea with a pastry or a yummy slice of cake.

Finally, round off your visit with some grocery shopping in the farm shop and butchers and that’s dinner sorted – you really can get everything done at Gardentime!

Gardentime is nestled between Woodlands and the Sportsman’s arms on the Dartmouth road and is open every day until 5.30pm Monday to Saturday, and 5pm on Sundays. Contact them via their website www.gardentime.biz.
