James built a fence and constructed a gate at the front of my house. He was very skilled at making sure the end product suited my needs, checking in regularly with me as the job progressed and adding his own good ideas that resulted in an end product that looked great and was of a high standard of workmanship. He also had a keen sense of humour and I would recommend him to my friends for similiar work.
Having just moved in, and not having local recommendations, we found James on the Internet and asked him to replace a fence, put new hinges/bolts/locks on several doors, and help us with moving several objects around. He did all this in short order, enlisting help when required. He has done everything promptly, efficiently and to a high standard from the initial quote stage to execution of the work, has cleaned up well, respected the property and always kept us informed when we were not at home. He and those he has had helping him have all been pleasant and well mannered. We would recommend him.
