Four South Hams' girls will be joining the England Under 18's Women's Squad.

Kingsbridge RFC have this evening announced that four of their girls have made the team:

"We are MASSIVELY proud to be able to announce that FOUR of our Under 18's Girls players have been named in the ENGLAND Under 18's Women's squad - take a bow Daisy Womack, Hannah Sams, Evie Walker and Josie Plant. Go Blue and Whites"

Best wishes and Congratulations have been pouring in from Kingsbridge residents thrilled that their girls have done so well.

Ian Ibbo Ibbetson wrote, "That's amazing! ???? congrats to all the players, parents and coaches! What an achievement!!" and Robin Giles wrote,"Congratulations, a credit to both the girls and the club".

Kingsbridge RFC work incredibly hard training both the girls and boys who attend. It's great to see their efforts being rewarded. In what can sometimes be seen as a bit of a male arena, Kingsbridge girls rugby is now firmly on the map.
