Giving tree to make care home residents Christmas wishes come true
Embankment Bistro in Dartmouth is helping make care home residents come true with their giving tree.
Embankment Bisto in Dartmouth has a heartwarming initiative that "aims to spread joy and support this holiday season to seniors living in our community".

The giving tree at Embankment Bistro
The bistro has partnered with Fleet Care Home to create a giving tree, where residents can write their Christmas wishes on a tag to hang on the tree, and people come together to help those dreams come true.
Jason Rosewarne, Embankment Bistro, said: "Especially during this time, our seniors can feel lonely or isolated and we hope to spread some holiday cheer through our Giving Tree. It is a great way for the community to share in the holiday spirit by giving back.
"It’s a great way to involve people of all ages in making a difference in the lives of those who might otherwise get overlooked during the festive season.
"The Giving Tree is located at the Embankment Bistro and is filled with tags with the wishes of the Care Home residents. These range from simple things such as a magnifying glass, fingerless gloves, pens, etc. You can help us make their dreams come true by cash donations until 21 December.
"We will purchase and wrap the items for each individual and deliver them to the care home for distribution.
"Alternatively, for those who are quite local, you can select a tag and purchase and wrap the item yourself and return it to Embankment Bistro no later than 21 December."
