Two buses destroyed and another damaged in blaze

Two 70-seater coaches have been destroyed and an 18-seater minibus has been damaged in a blaze at AB Coaches Ltd in Totnes. 

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were called at around 1pm to reports of a bus on fire at AB Coaches.

When crews from Totnes, Torquay and Paignton arrived they discovered a coach was "well alight". 

A spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: "Fire involved two 70-seater coaches and one 18-seater mini bus. Both coaches have been destroyed by the fire, the 18-seater mini bus sustaining slight damage."

The DSRFS closed the incident at around 4pm and all surrounding roads are now open.
