Man charged for "nonpayment" of parking charge, despite having proof

Iv had this same issue paid using ring go app all went though then few weeks later got a fine in the post appealed sent bank statement showing payment and showed proof of paying to park on the app apparently this is not acceptable now I have £160 fine as it’s been sent to bw legal to recover the money they have told me pay or go to court and pay court fees
This sort of thing should not be aloud

Has this issue been resolved?
We visited Hope Cove this August, we paid for
1 hour using cash, as I could not get reception on my phone to use the RingGo app. Big mistake! I just received a letter saying that there is no trace of payment. I definitely paid it, but now can’t prove it as I no longer have the ticket and no bank records to show it.
I have logged my appeal but after reading posts, it seems that they are quite persistent in getting the payment ?

Just had same problem - June 22. PPs have rejected my VISA proof of parking. Have appealed. Will go to court if not successful

I had exactly the same thing that I am still fighting. Last year in Hope Cove I got ticketed for non payment. I have since provided the ticket that was in my possession and a Monzo print out of the transaction (also went to the cove btw) and they are now instead pursuing me for incorrectly entering my registration number.

I have used enough machines in my time to know how to do that properly but they refuse to accept it is clearly a fault with the machine - I have a copy of all of the transactions from the day and it happened to loads of people.

The system is rigged in their favour, I am letting them take me to court to see if anyone has any scruples anymore. Hope my faith in the legal system pays off.

I had same issue in Sept. paid £2.40 for 2 hours parking; stayed for 1 hour. PPS harassing me to pay £100 fine despite me evidencing with credit card transaction and Strava log that I paid them.
Completely unacceptable. Will be fighting this one all the way as it’s a blatant scam.
