Lannacombe
Lannacombe beach near East Prawle has relatively difficult access and a very small parking area so by default is unspoilt and un crowded. The area is wild and rugged with large rocks and stunning scenery. The small beach is accessed by a short slope. It is one of the few beaches that is completely dog friendly year round.
Prior to 2012 there was access to a smaller beach, Ivy Cove but it is important to note that due to a cliff fall it is now extremely difficult to get to. Please be very aware that there is a risk of being cut off at high tide.
Lovely walks on the Coastal Path are a must to stretch your legs and the coastline is fantastic. Close to the Start Point Lighthouse and Hallsands Beach, you can enjoy a good day out exploring the Southern most area of the beautiful South Hams coastline.
